Who we are
St Albans Stone Worktops is a worktop enquiry service. We are responsible for the details you send through this website or give us by phone. You can contact us at info@stalbansstoneworktops.co.uk.
What we collect
If you use the quote form, we collect your name, postcode, phone number and/or email address, your preferred contact method, and the project details you choose to give: what you are planning, material preference, project stage, approximate dimensions and notes.
If you call the number on this website, we collect your phone number, your name and what you tell us about the job. Calls may be answered by an automated assistant that takes these details. We do not record calls.
Why we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to a local worktop fabricator so they can contact you about your project and, if you go ahead, quote for and carry out the work. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to make, and on taking steps at your request before a contract.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is passed to the worktop fabricator who will contact you. Once they have it, they are responsible for how they use it.
We use service providers to run this website and handle enquiries: website hosting, an automation service that receives the form, a spreadsheet where enquiries are stored, and a call-handling service. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under safeguards required by UK data protection law. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for 12 months and then deleted.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures to keep the site secure.
Your rights
You can ask what details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email info@stalbansstoneworktops.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
